V2 Cigs at Walmart?

Filed in News & Politics by on July 30, 2012

walmartv2cigsAs electronic cigarettes soar in popularity, they are becoming increasingly visible. What used to be primarily an ecommerce business is gradually making its way onto the shelves of local supermarkets and convenience stores. Even as regulatory bodies create roadblocks, the e-cig industry continues its steady growth. It’s a screaming affirmation of the product’s unprecedented ability to change the lives of people who could not envision a future without tobacco.

The world of retail is, however, very different than shopping online. Having a given brand stocked in a physical, brick & mortar store presents a new set of challenges to e-cigarette companies. Most wholesalers are unaware of the major differences which exist between two almost identical looking e-cig products and will usually opt for the cheaper one. This holds particularly true for America’s favorite super store, Walmart.

Having electronic cigarettes available at such a massive chain is a huge step forward for the entire marketplace; though, most e-cig enthusiasts would prefer it if they carried a larger selection. Walmart pressures their suppliers to produce a given item cheaply enough for its cost to accommodate the store’s low prices and still bring a profit. For many companies, this means cutting corners; something V2 Cigs refuses to do.

So, we need your help showing Walmart that there is room for a premium electronic cigarette brand at their chain of stores! Click here and tell Walmart why you want them to stock V2 Cigs in your neighborhood. Be part of our grassroots effort to cultivate a relationship with America’s super store!

I just left Walmart a comment requesting that they carry v2 e-cigs. It seems to me that they are stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime and I told them so. Hopefully, appealing to their desire to make money will make a difference.

    I am sooo thrilled.

I don’t shop at Walmart because I don’t have kids and I’m not in a financial position where saving money on toilet paper is of the essence. But I do object to the price of Fed Ex.

I LOVE V2 and I don’t like ANY other vapor cigarettes.

If Walmart of OXNARD (none in SB and where my parents live in LA there aren’t box stores: I’d have to drive some distance to a store but would be happy to do so) carries them, I will go to Walmart monthly on my drives from LA to SB.

I just left a long comment on an anti-vapor piece in the Canadian press. I love V2 and e-cigs, even if not perfect for you, are a monumental improvement over the smoking of tobacco.

BUT make sure to stock CONGRESS in the .6%.

I don’t use any of the fancy flavors or liquids.

Make sure that they stock the standard as well as the new products.

I like Mint Tea but not all the time. The rest I do not like (I tried them in the flavor sampler).

ALSO it’s essential to stock the chargers and other accessories.

I buy alot of products here and would buy my V2 supplies there as well. Would be very convenient and more people would see it and try it. Cigarettes will be a thing of the past soon. Hopefully.
