E Cigarette Break Entertainment: Top 5 Games for Android

Filed in Lifestyle by on January 14, 2015

In case our fondness for the latest e cigarette or portable vaporizer doesn’t make it clear, vapers dig technology.
e cigarette, e cigarettes, android games
We like our smartphones like our e cigarettes — well-designed and cutting-edge. And the more cool features, the better.

Here’s a good example. One of our electronic cigarette engineers is a huge mobile gamer. When he’s not designing new products, he’s playing Dead Trigger 2 on his Galaxy Note 4. It’s that crazy serious.

But he’s not the only one. We polled the rest of the staff here in our V2 Miami HQ, and found out that mobile gaming was super popular all around. It wasn’t easy, but after some lively debate, we managed to narrow our top picks down to five.

Here’s a look at the top-five V2 staff preferred games for Android (iPhone owners, we’ll get to you next time).

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
GTA: San Andreas will cost you $6.99. But it’s worth it. You get awesome characters, like Carl Johnson. Plus an entirely unlimited, open-world for him to explore. The V2 crew loves this one.

Subway Surfers
If subway surfing sounds difficult, that’s because it is in real life (Seriously. Don’t try this at home.) But in game form, it’s not only possible, but fun. Help “Jake, Tricky & Fresh” dodge oncoming trains and collect coins. Kids these days!

True Skate
With True Skate, your fingers are the skater. We had a tough time mastering the controls, but only at first. Once you figure it out, it’s pretty awesome, and very realistic. It’ll cost you $2.

TwoDots
TwoDots is the new Candy Crush. Except not as soul-crushing because you can play at your own pace. What really stands out, though, is the minimalist design and relaxing game music.

Batman Arkham Origins
This was an easy pick. Every list needs Batman on it. Among the hardcore gamers in the office, BAO is a must. The game is free to download but can cost up to $100 (!) with in-app purchases.

Disagree with our picks? Feeling left out as an iPhone owner? Let us know in the comments or on the V2 Facebook page. (We’re putting together our top picks for iPhone, so if you’ve got a game that you just can’t put down, tell us what it is!)
