We don’t normally wade too far into e cigarette controversy here on the blog – there’s a time and a place for everything, and that debate is well covered! But sometimes the topic is worth dipping into. Maybe there was something in the air this week, but our crew was buzzing with messages for those on the other side of the fence. We share the best ones with you here!
It Looked Like Smoking.
Blogger Frank Davis has a nice round-up – with rebuttals for each one – of the many arguments put forward by e cigarette opponents as reasons to tamp down on vaping. The most ridiculous one being, “It looks like smoking.” We share Mr. Davis’s disbelief, but we were heartened to see a lively conversation on the topic happen over on the blog.
Denial: It Just Doesn’t Work Anymore.
Heartland Institute expert Brad Rodu chronicles his experiences speaking at forums and feels there’s a critical mass of research and knowledge out there to silence those who refuse to acknowledge e cigarette benefits. Formal research aside, he speaks about his completely non-scientific interactions with former smokers who have become vapers. That’s something we can relate to (it actually describes some of us!). Check out his musings on the subject here.
With Love From A Vaper.
We wholeheartedly agree with you on this one, @CaeruleanSea!

A One-Year “Vapeaversary.”
Finally, there’s this sweet testimonial from former smoker-turned-vaper about how her life has changed since she started vaping one year ago. “Vape on, my lovelies,” she signs off in the post. Beki, we couldn’t agree more!
