Bluetooth E Cigarettes? Yes, please!

Filed in Lifestyle by on June 8, 2015

bluetooth e cigarettes v2 cigsToday, almost everything is Internet-enabled. Bluetooth e cigarettes may still be a thing of the future, but curtains, t-shirts, watches – they’ve all been made “smart,” so that we can have a better experience using them. It’s the Internet of Things. But what does that mean, exactly?

Here’s what Forbes has to say:
So what is the Internet of things?
Simply put, this is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet (and/or to each other). This includes everything from cell phones, coffee makers, washing machines, headphones, lamps, wearable devices and almost anything else you can think of…
The new rule for the future is going to be, “anything that can be connected, will be connected.”

Hmmm… Anything that has an on and off switch? Well, what about e cigarettes? They do. Will we ever get to the point where we can have Internet-ready e cigarettes that gives a usage readout? Maybe it can report my e-liquid use back to a smartphone app and send me automatic notifications so I know just when to place a refill order?

Well, at V2, we’re working on our own “smart” e cigarettes. Oh, yes, they’re coming.

Check out our CEO Jan Verleur in the South Florida Business Journal:
…the company has to constantly innovate. For instance, [V2] is working on e-cigarettes that can be controlled by a smartphone app using Bluetooth.
“We almost have to have upgrades every six months, sort of like the iPhone,” he said.

Exactly — just like the iPhone. Similar to Apple, we’re constantly thinking of ways to innovate new devices that can give you, our fans, better all-around experiences. We think smart, Bluetooth-enabled e cigarettes can do that. So it’s in-development. It’s something we’re working on and think you’ll love. Get excited.
