With impending ecig regulations set to be announced via the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in the coming months, it’s important that ecig supporters do their part to educate friends and family members about the ways in which e-cigs have positively impacted their lives. If switching to e-cigs has helped you save money, feel better or made your loved one’s happier, these are the kinds of stories that we encourage V2 customers to share via social media!
The great thing about 2015 is that everyone in America has easy (and usually) unrestricted access to the Internet and social media. If you’re sharing fact-based articles about ecig use on your personal Facebook page, or posting a 15-second video on your snapchat or Instagram account raving about your experience with ecigs – it’s those kind of small efforts that help educate and persuade public opinion over time.
Sure, the Internet can be both a gift and a curse at times—everyone has access to it, enabling millions of sophisticated points-of-view about the world and important topics to be shared. At the same time, social media also offers a platform to some that have established opinions based on inaccurate information. The combination of mixed opinions and points-of-view make it hard for new, innovative products to thrive and fulfill. This same principle applies to an ecig or vaporizer.
It doesn’t matter if you are very active on various social media platforms or only connected to 20 of your closest family members via email or Facebook, you can still do your part to promote accurate and credible information about the ecig industry. Whether you are sharing your personal experience about ecig use with friends and family, or sharing credible studies or reviews, when everyone does this, it can have a huge impact on the overall perception of the industry and the wonderful people who work in it and use ecig products. We are especially encouraging V2 customers to share their vapor stories with the hashtag #VaporStories. Our goal is to help vapor enthusiasts connect online and share their true ecig stories with their vapor and non-vapor loved one’s. Regardless of what vapor brand you prefer, the next time you enjoy your ecig or vaporizer, think about sharing a tweet, post or video about your vapor experience. We will be monitoring this hashtag across all social media platforms and reaching out to vapers for their permission to repost their awesome vapor stories on our V2 blog or the official V2 forum!
