Netflix and Chill…with Your Vaporizer

netflix and chill with your vaporizer at v2.comWhen we aren’t in the Miami V2 headquarters, many of our team members like to relax with their vaporizer and a Netflix show, movie or documentary. While “Netflix and chill” is becoming a popular phenomenon, “Netflix and vape” is trumping it to our group of dedicated V2 staff members.

The best part about ‘Netflix and vape’, as we like to call it, includes finding new content that is both entertaining, informative and promotes vaporizer culture across the world. As serious stand-up comedy fans, we recently checked out Aziz Ansari’s new Netflix show, Master of None. This new series mimic’s Aziz’s real life experiences with race, relationships, gender, family and generational differences while giving a glimpse into new societal norms. While we would agree that the show is very entertaining and comical, we were happily surprised to discover one episode that featured a vaporizer. In this episode, Aziz meets a woman at a bar, played by Claire Dane. The two characters end up hooking up, but before they do, Dane’s character pulls out a personal vaporizer and encourages Aziz to vape in an effort to enjoy the present moment even more. We loved seeing the vapor love! We all know that vaporizer use is a part of American culture and when promoted and enjoyed responsibly, is something that can be rejoiced!

Of course this isn’t the first time Netflix original shows or movies have featured characters using an electronic cigarette or vaporizer. Popular Netflix series like House of Cards and Sense8 have both depicted main characters relaxing with vaporizer in hand. And since we continue to see ecigs and other vapor products appear in unique shows produced by Netflix, it made us think—does Netflix support the vape? While we will never know, we think it’s cool to see a content creation platform like Netflix emulate real life and real pop, inspired by real American adults. Whether Netflix is pro or anti vapor, we appreciate them creating and distributing a wide variety of content that isn’t biased. One of the great things about Netflix is they promote informative and entertaining content showcasing all points of views from many perspectives.

What’s your current favorite Netflix series or movie? Have you seen other movies or shows on Netflix that feature vapor devices? Let us know in the comment section below and we’ll make sure to check it out during our next Netflix and vape session!
