Over the weekend, hundreds of ecig consumers in Ontario, Canada took to the streets to protest against Bill 45, a new legislative rule that bans vaping where tobacco smoking is prohibited.
According to media reports, some of the protesters used this as an opportunity to educate bystanders about ecig use. One protester in particular was holding a sign that read “Tobacco kills. Vaping saves lives. The constitution is on our side.”
We support anyone regardless of geographic location, who stands up for his or her right to vape. As a smoke-free alternative to combustible tobacco, many people around the world are realizing that vaping is helping millions adopt a new lifestyle. We’ve seen many ecig-related protests over the past year in various different countries. We particularly appreciate this one because everyone who took to the streets vaped as they protested. Vapor power to the people!
Back in Miami, we have had to the pleasure of connecting with thousands of V2 customers who have told us that their V2 ecig helped them successfully make the switch. From social media messages, to personal emails and phone calls, we hear first-hand from our global customers about the success they’ve had with e-cigarettes. While there are many nicotine replacement therapies (NRT) available, many V2 customers can testify that they don’t always work. Vaporizers and other ecig products continue to prove to be a reliable tool that actually does help people permanently avoid combustible tobacco.
Just like many states and cities in America, Canadian vapers are fighting similar anti-vaping measures across the country. This new Ontario rule is slated to go into affect in July.
